Components of an automated production line

With the continuous development of industrial technology, industrial robots, as the main automated production lines in industry, have also been widely used in production and manufacturing. Automation technology is the main measure to improve production quality and efficiency. As a new type of mechanical equipment with strong reliability, high flexibility, good safety, and convenient operation, industrial robots are widely used in automatic production lines, which plays an important role in the manufacturing industry.
The technical equipment of an automated production line consists of the following components:
(1) Manipulator: Through the use of modern design methods such as finite element analysis, modal analysis, and simulation design, robot manipulators have achieved optimal design.
(2) Controller: The performance of the controller has been further improved. It has evolved from a standard 6-axis robot in the past to being able to control 21 or even 27 axes, and has achieved software servo and full digital control.
(3) Sensing devices: Laser sensors, visual sensors, and force sensors have been successfully applied in robotic systems, and have achieved automatic seam tracking, automatic positioning of objects on automated production lines, and precision assembly operations, greatly improving the robot's operational performance and adaptability to the environment.
(4) Parallel mechanism: The use of parallel mechanisms and the use of robot technology to achieve high-precision measurement and processing is an extension of robot technology to CNC technology, laying the foundation for the integration of robot and CNC technology in the future.
(5) Network communication: The robot controller has realized the connection with Canbus, Profibus buses, and some networks, which has made a big step forward for robots from independent applications in the past to networked applications, and also made robots develop from specialized equipment in the past to standardized equipment.
The complete set of equipment in an automated production line refers to a large-scale automated production line that takes robots as the core, information technology and network technology as the media, and connects all equipment together. It is a typical representative of advanced manufacturing equipment and an important means to develop advanced manufacturing technology to achieve digitization, networking, and intelligence of production lines. Currently, it has become a highly valued high-tech application field at home and abroad.
